Food Recipes - Marshmallow Eggs Recipe
2 tablespoons gelatine
¼ cup cold water
½ cup hot water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 boiled egg (for pressing into flour)

Spoon
Saucepan
Flour (enough to be an inch deep in tray)
Coconut, chocolate (optional)
- Blend cold water and gelatine in a bowl.
- Put hot water and sugar in saucepan. Boil until thick.
- Add gelatine mix to saucepan mix.
- Add vanilla and lemon juice.
- Beat with mixer until thick and creamy.
- Put flour into a large tray and spread until about 1 inch thick.
- Press the boiled egg halfway into flour and repeat. Fill the hollows
with marshmallow.
- Refrigerate until set. This should take about 5 to 10 minutes.
- When set, touch top with finger and lift out gently.
